How Does Proactol™ Work
Proactol™
natural fibre
complex consists of
two fibres that work
in different ways to
help you manage
your weight and
improve your
overall health.
- Non-Soluble (NeOfiber™)
- Soluble (NeOmicel™)
Non-Soluble (NeOfiber™)
When Proactol™
non-soluble fibres
come into contact
with dietary fats, it
establishes
hydrophobic connections, binding with them
immediately to form
a fluid gel around
the fat. These
connections are
irreversible, thus
preventing the effects of
pancreatic lipases and
reducing absorption of the
lipids in the intestines.
This makes
the fats complex too
large to be absorbed
by our body.
Unabsorbed fats will then
be passed naturally
through our body. Proactol™ has been
clinically proven to
bind over 28% of
dietary fats.
This means that if
you take Proactol™
after each meal it
will block over 28%
of the dietary fats
from that meal from
entering your body.

Soluble (NeOmicel™)
Proactol™ soluble
fibers are highly
viscous when they
bind with bile acids
to create a very
viscous solution.
This will:
- slow down the rate at
which food leaves the
stomach (slow down the digestions)
- minimizes a rapid
sugar rise in the blood
level known as
'sugar-spike' (slow down the
absorption of glucose)
When
Proactol™
viscous fiber complex mixes
with meals, it delays
gastric emptying by
producing a bulking effect
and increasing the viscosity
of gastric content. Our
stomach finds it a
lot harder to digest,
therefore it remains in our
stomach far longer than an
ordinary meal usually would.
This gives us a feeling of
being full for much longer. This process will give
you a feeling of
suppressed appetite and
will decrease your food
cravings.
This effect could in turn
have a substantial impact on
total food intake per day.
